Streets of Rage 시리즈의 첫 번째 게임은 매우 멋진 사운드 트랙을 가지고 있습니다. 긴 트랙들은 거의 캐리비안의 특성을 가지고 있습니다. 코시로 유조는 그 음악을 작곡할 즈음에 소울 2 소울, 블랙박스, 맥시 프리스트, 카론 휠러와 같은 아티스트들을 듣고 있었고, 이것은 의심할 여지 없이 그의 스타일에 영향을 미쳤습니다.
트랙 제목은 사운드트랙에서 나왔으나, 사운드트랙에는 〈Up & Up〉, 〈The Super Threc〉, 〈Name Entry〉 등 3곡이 빠진 것으로 보인다.

The first game in the Streets of Rage series has a very nice soundtrack. The long tracks have a almost Caribbean quality to them. Yuzo Koshiro said he was listening to artists like Soul II Soul, Black Box, Maxi Priest, and Caron Wheeler around the time of composing the music, which no doubt influenced his style.
The track titles come from the soundtrack, however it seems that there are three songs on the soundtrack that are missing from the rip, "Up & Up", "The Super Threc", and "Name Entry".
Takayuki Nakamura said he programmed the sound.
